MINDFULNESS IN NATURE

This unique experiential workshop takes place outdoors … either full day or half-day. It’s suitable for all fitness levels, and can be adapted to any group’s specific needs/desires, budget, and location — within Upstate South Carolina. It’s a wonderful, enriching experience in the green world!

(CONTACT ME to discuss details, pricing, and to book a date.)

I am also available to give online presentations for groups interested in mindfulness and nature. My talks are packed with practical information on the benefits of being in nature and include interactive, meditative practices. Here’s an example of a recent one:

“The first time a friend invited me to go on a Silent Hike, I was a bit hesitant, maybe even reserved. I hadn’t heard of such a thing. But I was intrigued and at that time I was in need of a place to find peace.

Normally, our mind is busy racing through it all and not embracing the things we see, hear and smell: the smallest lizard on a limb, flowers randomly growing, the sound of water grazing along the rocks that shine in the sun, dirt and leaves and mushrooms, the way the trees are growing…

You have to find your own silence—maybe on a meditative walk among people you don’t know or you’ll get to know. I promise you this: It’s something you won’t regret. A Silent Hike is a precious opportunity. It has played an integral part in the healing of my heart.”   — Danielle P.
